This EP is a time-capsule, a true record of voice, from youth to man. A journey of personal experience starting from no-income households, being forced into the streets but coming out with a real passion for rap. A portrait of the artist as a young man, penning his life in a notebook to break the spiralling cycle of death and ruin.

The struggle you hear is the culmination of four years in sincere song writing, describing a life worth listening to.

In 2014, the song ‘Mum’ was written, only a year from his mother's passing in Caution’s Heidelberg home. Recorded at the age of fifteen in Living Music North Melbourne, it later received a 2020 National Indigenous Story award.
